Painted Pots And Pictures

Yesterday I took Morgan to the store to pick out some flower seeds and get some pots. I told her she could paint the pots before planting the seeds. First thing this morning she was ready to paint. She got three packs of seeds and three pots. I got three packs of herb seeds and three pots. So while Carter was taking his morning nap we painted and planted. Here is the result.

Morgan's seeds she picked out. Zinnia's, Petunia's and Marigold's.

My painted pots.

I also bought this cool thing for 5 dollars. Hopefully Roy will have my garden box built by the time these are ready for the ground (or I will put them at Marly's house).

Other than that I have been hanging out in Awesome Town (Animal Crossing City Folk. Yes I am so un-creative that I named my town Awesome. I am lame, I know). I got it for Mothers day and am addicted. So is Roy, even though he almost didn't get it for me because he said it looked lame. And in a way it is. But we are hooked. Here are some more pictures to look at. I will try to write a real post tomorrow.

I'm Here

I have been sick. For over two weeks now. I am finally feeling better, but I cannot get rid of this cough.
I am such an exciting person that in the week and a half since I posted last, not a lot has happened. The most exciting thing that happened was we celebrated our 4th anniversary. We went out to dinner at Benihanas. It was my first time going there and it was delicious.
Also we had the craft show on the 1st. I took Morgan with me and she was tired from Halloween so we didn't stay too long , but it was still fun. I sold a few things. My Mom sold the most dollar wise. My Mom has a booth at another one so I might try to get her to sell some of my stuff at that one too.
I am having a
Homemade Gourmet party this weekend, I am looking forward to that. I love having get together's at my house. I usually do the summer parties and my Mom does the big winter ones, but I try to slip a few smaller winter ones in since I love this time of year. I could do without the snow, but the holiday time makes me happy.
Well I honestly don't have anything else to babble about. Maybe something exciting will happen today.

Not A Whole Lot Going On

It hasn't been too exciting around here. Roy left this morning for Walsenburg and won't be home until Friday and I think Morgan is coming down with a cold. Why wouldn't she be getting sick, we have plans to take the kids to Boo at the Zoo on Saturday. Hopefully what ever she is or isn't getting doesn't pass on to Carter and goes away fast.

I have been trying to get creative and crafty so I would have something to sell at the craft fair that I am supposed to be in with Marly and my Mom on Nov. 1st, but since I just started sewing and I really don't know what else to do I am stuck. I guess I could try to sell these checkbook and debit card holders I have had sitting around here since the beginning of summer. I did manage to make a bag to hold my clothespins, which turned out cute, not that it was real hard or anything.

I went to Target yesterday to see if they had a better selection of costumes than WalMart, but it was pretty slim pickins. I should really be one of those Mom's that is ahead of the game and goes to get costumes the day they are put on display, but I don't see that happening. I am going to try another Target, but I think I might end up at the craft store looking for simple patterns. We'll see how it goes. I wanted to dress the kids up for Saturday so I guess I will have to go tomorrow in case I do have to sew anything.

Alright, enough boring babble. Hopefully something exciting happens in the next couple of days.

Oh yeah, I fixed it so that you don't have to have a blogger account to leave comments.
